Every project is different but below are a few things you may want to know before we can start. If you're having trouble choosing which option is the best for you, I'm happy to help you decide once you fill our your design questionnaire.
What do I need in order to create a website?
If you're starting from scratch, you will need a domain name, and a site host.
What is a domain name and where can I get one?
A domain name, or URL is a custom web address ie: www.yourname.com and can be purchased through sites like GoDaddy.com. Subscription fees will apply.
What is a site host and where can I get one?
A site host is where the files that make up your site are stored. GoDaddy also offer's hosting space for an additional subscription fee.
What if I want a blog or blogsite; do I need a domain and host?
There are many great options for your blog. Some are free, such as Tumblr and Blogger and others, including Wordpress or Squarespace may require subscription fees.
Will you create the content for my site?
I can make suggestions for your copy and stock imagery, which may add additional charges but my focus is on creating the visual world to make your content look good.
How long will it take to build my site?
The length of time it takes, depends on the scope of your project. Currently you can expect the process to take between 2 - 8 weeks. Once I have the details of your project, I can give you a better estimate.
When my site is complete, can you make changes?
I'm happy to make adjustments, however once your website goes live, any major layout changes will be treated as a new project and priced accordingly. Small changes will be billed hourly starting at 1 hour per change request so it's recommended that you take your time considering your changes and compile a list rather than making several small change requests.
